“I just wanted to pop on here this morning to tell you all what happened last night. I’m a midwife and I was honoured to be present at the most amazing home water birth in the early hours of this morning.
First time Mother. They had been out for dinner with friends at 38+ weeks to celebrate her husband’s birthday that day. They left the restaurant at 20:30 as she had a few period like ‘cramps’.
They phoned me and I went out to do an antenatal check up at 22:30. The baby was born at 00:16. The mom practiced Hypnobirthing with her husband and it was so beautiful to watch. It was hard, but she breathed and smiled and relaxed through it all. And this morning they have woken a family of 3. I am so in awe of the impact that Hypnobirthing can have on people in labour and birth.”
